To ensure you have clarity about what to expect from your renting experience on coutureforhire.com we have outlined the below terms and conditions for using the Couture for hire  (the “Terms”). Please read carefully through the Terms below before placing your order. Please note that by using the Couture For Hire website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the Terms set out below, and you consent to the processing of information as described therein and in our Privacy Policy and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

These Terms may be updated by us from time to time. You should therefore check this page regularly to note any changes we may have made to the Terms. Changes to the Terms will apply to orders made subsequent to the revised Terms being published.

Please note that once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes to the order and you agree to the term & conditions of Couture For Hire once you rent a dress with us.

Your Delivery

Below are the delivery times and costs associated with orders placed for delivery to various regions within the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and United Kingdom. Please note that we currently only deliver within these countries.

We aim to deliver to you within the time frames outlined above however we do not guarantee that deliveries will be made within the above delivery times. Please note that a signature is requested on delivery. If you are not in when our couriers deliver and if they cannot find a safe location to leave the package, they will attempt redelivery 1 more time on a different day. In order to arrange a suitable time for our couriers to deliver, please contact the number left on the drop card. You can also arrange collection from your post office. Their phone number will be on their drop card.

The aforementioned despatch and delivery times above may vary for a range of reasons. Couture for hire shall not be liable for loss resulting from deliveries outside the delivery periods specified above due to lack of product availability, delays from carriers, force majeure, or for any other reason.

Couture for Hire will be using a Courier service for deliveries to ensure prompt and trackable delivery. Your package will be picked up from us for a nationwide next day delivery or same day in Dublin. We do not have tracking numbers and can not give exact times of delivery. We can however inform you if delivery will be morning or afternoon.

Your Returning the dress(s)

Once you receive the dress from Couture For Hire the responsibility to return the dress is yours. The dress(s) must be returned on time. If you do not return the dress the full cost of the dress plus administration fee will be charged on your visa card.

The dress can only be returned by the approved method set down by Couture For Hire. If you avail of the courier service you must ensure to be at the house when the courier collects the dress.

Placing an Order

Pricing and Payment Options

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Laser or PayPal.

If you decide to purchase products described in the Site, you may be asked to supply certain information, including credit card or other payment information. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we use any personal information you provide to us for this purpose.

By providing such information, you represent and warrant that it is accurate, complete, and current. by making any such purchase, you agree to pay all charges (including delivery and handling charges) incurred by users of your credit card or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You are responsible for paying any taxes applicable to such purchase.

Couture For Hire reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason. Orders may be delayed or cancelled if Couture For Hire is not given completely accurate information and/or is unable to contact the person who has placed the order and/or the primary cardholder for the order.

Payment Processing

Once you have placed your order, we conduct a standard pre-authorisation check on your method-of-payment to ensure sufficient funds. We also undertake a fraud prevention process which is outlined in “Fraud Prevention” below. If you paid using your credit card, you will be charged once the goods have been despatched to the delivery address. If funds have ceased to be available between the pre-authorisation check and the actual charge, the order will be cancelled. We will send you an email to confirm the despatch of your order.

If you have paid via your PayPal account, your account will be charged at the time of the order, once you confirm your order on the website. If we are unable to ship your items to you for some reason, we will refund the value of the items that were not sent. This refund will be made to the payment method that you used for the order.

Authorisation by Card Issuer

Orders placed using credit or debit cards are subject to authorization by the card issuer. If the card issuer refuses to authorize the payment for any reason, coutureforhire.com is unable to process the payment. In this case, you will be notified of the refusal during the check-out process.

Pricing & VAT

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the applicable rate for the country where the goods are being shipped to. Prices of individual products exclude delivery fees. The total cost of the order includes the VAT inclusive cost of the products ordered in addition to any applicable delivery fees. Delivery fees are clearly marked when accessing your Shopping Bag or when choosing to Checkout.

Fraud Prevention

During the checkout process, we may use the information you provided to detect and prevent fraudulent activity. In so doing, we may disclose your address and postcode, as well as other information about your order, to third parties to perform that validation. Any disclosure of your information is done securely and you will never receive any marketing solicitation as a result of the information provided.

Verified by Visa & MasterCard SecureCode

Couture For Hire aims to provide you with a safe, reliable shopping experience. We therefore support Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode, which have the same principles as Chip & Pin, and which help to protect your card against unauthorized use. If your bank or card issuer has adopted this programme, you may receive a Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode verification page when you are shopping on the Couture For Hire website. If you are not presented with the page but wish to register for the programme to improve the security associated with your card, please contact your bank directly, or search for Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode on the Internet for more information.

If you are prompted with a Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode screen, and you choose not to register, your card issuer may not allow your order to be processed on that card. If this occurs, you will be asked to provide a different payment method to complete your purchase.

Returns

Republic of Ireland Northern Ireland and United Kingdom

We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable and beyond your control. Our dry cleaner can take care of most minor stains. Although very rare, significant destruction or theft is obviously not permitted and we hope to never run into this problem. Unfortunately, if the dress cannot be repaired and we are unable to rent it to future customers, your credit card will be charged immediately for the retail price of the dress. YOU AGREE TO THIS ONCE RENTING A DRESS WITH COUTURE FOR HIRE. CREDIT CARD DETAILS ARE HELD AS SECURITY SO IF THE DRESS IS DAMAGED OR SOILED WE WILL TAKE THE FULL RETAIL AMOUNT OF THE DRESS.

REFUNDS

 If you hired the goods originally with a credit or debit card, we can only process a refund to the card that was used for the purchase. If your card expires before we are able to process the refund, please contact customer service and provide your name, order number, postcode, and phone number. For security reasons, we do not accept card information through email. Therefore, once you provide us with your contact information, we will contact you directly to take the new card details over the phone.

Accuracy

We endeavour to display accurate pricing, product descriptions & information, images, and availability as of the time that the information is submitted for display onto the website. However, because of lighting differences and differences with monitors, the actual colour of the products you receive may differ from what you see on screen. In addition, information can occasionally be entered erroneously on the system. In this case, we reserve the right to correct information, such as prices and promotions, which have been published on the Couture For Hire site. Information about sizing is as accurate as possible.

Access

We reserve the right to refuse access to part or all of this website at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to, at any time and without notice, remove, modify or add information and services to any part of this website. We shall not be held liable if the website is unavailable for any period of time.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. In the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

 Entire Agreement

These Terms (including the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between Couture For Hire and you with respect to your access to and use of the Site and any third-party site accessed through the Site. If any provision of these Terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Promotions

From time-to-time we may offer certain online promotions which may apply to certain items hired on the website. The conditions relating to the discounts offered through those promotions will be specified at the time of issue.

We sometime run online promotions that are not available in our retail stores, and we run other promotions in-store that are not available online. Unless stated explicitly on the website, in-store promotions are not valid on the website, and visa versa.

In the event that a discount is obtained through a published promotional code, please be advised that customers cannot use more than one offer code per order.

Availability

Delivery of goods is subject to availability of the goods themselves. And while we strive to ensure that availability is accurately reflected on the website, some renters can return late. This rarely happens but if the previous customer has been careless and we do not have another dress in the same style and size in stock we will ship another more expensive dress to you. Our main focus is to keep our customers always happy and looking fabulous for your event. The processing of a payment does not obligate Couture For Hire to fulfill the goods in question, should the items not be available. In this case, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know about the lack of availability and you will not be charged for out-of-stock items.

Changes After Placing an Order

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept changes to orders after they have been placed. Therefore, please be sure that your order is correct before confirming your order.

Email Acknowledgement

Once you’ve placed an order on Couture For Hire website, we will send you an email to acknowledge your order. This acknowledgement does not imply an acceptance of the order. For orders paid via credit or debit cards, only when the order has been despatched will the purchase contract be made and will you be charged for the goods ordered. Once the items have been shipped you will receive an email informing you of the shipment. If you have paid through a PayPal account, your account will be charged when the order is placed.

Unauthorised Access

We take reasonable care to safeguard against unauthorized parties accessing your order information. However, we shall not be held liable for any loss caused by a third party accessing the data you’ve provided while using Couture For Hire website. We shall not be held liable to any person for any loss caused by the use of any of the information contained in or displayed on the Couture For Hire website.

Limitation of Liability
